April 7, 2021 fishing report
Boats are starting to troll along the shoreline of Lake Ontario from Sandy Creek to Webster park. Brown trout fishing has been a little slow so far, but they are being caught. Small stick baits off of planner boards are working, and DW super slims and Michigan stingers of the riggers 4-12 foot down…. # 2 and #1 Chinook divers are also working well with the weight to the outside, 14 feet to 22 feet back. Some chinook salmon and coho’s on occasion are also being caught.
Genesee River,,,Catfish and Walleye fishing has been very good.
Irondequcit Bay….Northern Pike at the south end off the bay. Good perch fishing!!
Long Pond…Bullhead and perch
